An awesome responsibility
The day I took office I stood before our dear friend The Judge and swore to serve the people of Elgin Township to the best of my ability. I was joined by friends, supporters, fellow trustees and family. Most importantly, I was joined by my two younger cousins, Steve and Scott.

Since they were born, I have held the awesome responsibility of being their role model. Everything I do, every choice I make, I know that their eyes are always watching.

When I took office, I pledged to continue to serve as their role model, and do everything in my power to live up to that awesome responsibility. I promise to both of them, and to all of you in Elgin Township, that I will never do anything to disgrace the office I hold.
